Lone Walnut Farm is a small farm on the Black River near Cheboygan, MI. We are a small farm run by family and friends providing Lamb for our local community.
Our animals are all raised based on a grass fed/pasture based diet. Our sheep are given very little grain, only for training purposes. We use a "Rotational Grazing" system, whereby our flock stays in one half acre area for 3-5 days before moving on to a new area. This system allows us to provide a healthy diet for our sheep and helps us maintain a very healthy flock. It also minimizes the medication needs of our animals.
